Momentum of WNY LLC

Momentum of WNY LLC is seeking a 6 NYCRR Part 360 Solid Waste Management Permit from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) to construct and operate a materials management facility in the Town of Bath. Services provided will fill a growing need, both locally and nationally, to separate from the waste stream those parts that are recyclable, with the goal being to decrease the amount of waste going to a landfill. Permitted waste will include non-hazardous liquids, sludges (non-wastewater treatment plant sludges), soils, and solids as well as non-hazardous absorbents; no hazardous materials will be accepted at the facility and no materials will be disposed of on-site. No biosolids will be accepted at this facility. The facility and associated structures will be designed in accordance with the strictest environmental regulations and material handling to conform to the associated NYSDEC permits.

In order to provide an outlet for materials to be consolidated and/or reused and provide an overall benefit to the community including a reduction in traffic and emissions, Momentum has submitted a permit application, which is currently under review by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
